Stuffed Pork Chops

These deconstructed-style stuffed pork chops are pure comfort food. My husband loves the stuffing so much I usually double the recipe for the bread crumb mixture and leave everything else the same.

Notes

Achieving a good sear on the pork chops before baking is crucial for developing rich flavor and color; ensure the skillet is adequately hot. When preparing the stuffing, consider toasting the bread cubes lightly before mixing for enhanced texture. For a more elevated flavor profile, substitute fresh herbs like sage or thyme for the poultry seasoning and use homemade chicken stock. To ensure tender, juicy pork, strictly adhere to the internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) and allow the chops to rest for 5-10 minutes after baking to redistribute juices.
