Notes

For enhanced flavor, consider sautéing a small diced onion and a clove of minced garlic with the ground beef before adding the spices. A pinch of cumin would also deepen the chili profile. To ensure superior melt and flavor, use freshly grated Cheddar cheese rather than pre-shredded, which often contains anti-caking agents that can hinder a smooth melt. Always keep a close eye on the nachos under the broiler, as cheese can go from perfectly bubbly to burnt in a matter of seconds. For serving, offer additional fresh toppings such as diced tomatoes, chopped fresh cilantro, or even a dollop of guacamole to add contrast and vibrancy.
