  • 2 pounds small red potatoes quartered
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Salad Dressing & Seasoning Mix

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
  • Place potatoes in a 1-gallon-size Glad® Zipper Bag and add oil; seal bag. Toss to coat.
  • Add Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Salad Dressing and Seasoning Mix and toss again until coated. Bake in ungreased baking pan for 30 to 35 minutes or until potatoes are brown and crisp.

Notes

For optimal crispness, ensure potatoes are cut to a uniform size and spread in a single layer on the baking sheet to prevent steaming; overcrowding is the enemy of crispy roasted potatoes. Consider par-boiling potatoes for 5-7 minutes before tossing with oil and seasoning; this helps create a fluffier interior while still achieving a crisp exterior during roasting. A sprinkle of fresh chopped chives or parsley after roasting adds a bright, fresh finish and enhances presentation. For an extra layer of flavor, a pinch of smoked paprika can be added along with the ranch seasoning.
