Maple Salmon

This maple glazed salmon is delicious and very easy to prepare. I love maple syrup in everything and decided to use it in the marinade. My husband totally loved it; he wasn't a salmon fan until now.

Notes

For best results, use pure maple syrup for a richer flavor. While 30 minutes is sufficient for marinating, extending it to 1-2 hours can deepen the flavor profile; however, avoid excessive marination to prevent the salmon from becoming too salty or firm due to the soy sauce. To prevent overcooking, aim for an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C); the salmon should be flaky but still moist. A touch of grated fresh ginger or a pinch of red pepper flakes can add an extra layer of complexity to the marinade. Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro or green onions before serving for freshness and visual appeal.
