Notes

For best results, use a high-quality unsalted butter and ensure it's truly softened to room temperature, not melted, for a smooth, homogenous mixture. Freshly minced or pressed garlic will yield the most vibrant flavor; consider roasting the garlic beforehand for a sweeter, mellower profile. Freshly grated Parmesan cheese also makes a significant difference in taste and texture compared to pre-grated. Taste and adjust seasonings thoroughly, as salt levels can vary. This butter is incredibly versatile; beyond garlic bread, it's excellent for finishing grilled meats, tossing with hot pasta, or stirring into mashed potatoes. For an aromatic boost, incorporate fresh finely chopped parsley or chives.
