Equipment

  • 1 Microwave
  • 1 Microwave-Safe Bowl Large enough to hold all ingredients
  • 1 Spatula or Spoon Heat-resistant
  • 1 Measuring Cups and Spoons
  • 1 Baking Dish Approx. 8x8 inch, for setting the fudge

Ingredients

Main

  • 3 Tb Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
  • 2 Cups Jet-Puffed Miniature Marshmallows
  • 2 Cups Creamy Planters Peanut Butter
  • 6 oz Baker's German Chocolate
  • 1 Cup Frozen Cool Whip
  • 2 Tb Marshmallow Creme
  • 1/2 tsp Heavy Cream

Instructions

  • Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper or foil, leaving an overhang on the sides.
  • In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the butter, powdered sugar, miniature marshmallows, creamy peanut butter, and chopped German chocolate.
  • Microwave on medium power for 1-2 minutes, then carefully remove and stir the mixture.
  • Continue microwaving in 30-60 second intervals, stirring thoroughly after each, until the mixture is fully melted and smooth.
  • Remove the bowl from the microwave once melted.
  • Add the frozen Cool Whip, marshmallow creme, and heavy cream to the bowl.
  • Stir vigorously until all added ingredients are fully incorporated and the mixture is smooth.
  • Immediately pour the hot fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  • Spread the top evenly with a spatula.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2-4 hours, or until the fudge is completely firm, then lift by the lining and cut into squares.

Notes

1. When microwaving, use medium power and short intervals (30-60 seconds), stirring thoroughly after each, to prevent scorching the chocolate or marshmallows. 2. Ensure the fudge is completely set in the refrigerator before cutting; this allows for cleaner, more defined squares. 3. For a marbled effect, gently swirl in a little extra melted chocolate or marshmallow creme just before refrigerating. 4. Using parchment paper with overhang makes removal and cutting much easier.
