  • 1 Chef's knife
  • 1 Cutting Board
  • 1 Small Saucepan (for melting butter)
  • 1 Pastry Brush (for garlic butter)

Ingredients

Main

  • 1 can Pillsbury French Bread Dough
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 4 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) as per the Pillsbury French Bread Dough package instructions.
  • Unroll the can of Pillsbury French Bread Dough onto a clean surface.
  • Using a chef's knife, cut the dough lengthwise into 1-inch wide strips.
  • Take each dough strip and tie it into a simple knot, tucking the ends slightly underneath.
  • Arrange the formed garlic knots on a lightly greased or parchment-lined baking sheet, ensuring some space between each.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the knots are golden brown and puffed.
  • While the knots are baking, mince the garlic cloves and finely chop the fresh parsley.
  • In a small saucepan, melt the 4 tablespoons of butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in the minced garlic and chopped parsley.
  • Once the knots are baked, remove them from the oven. Immediately brush the warm garlic butter mixture generously over each knot.
  • Serve the Easy Peasy Garlic Knots warm, ideally with a side of marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

For best results, use fresh garlic and parsley; dried alternatives will lack the vibrant flavor. Avoid over-baking the knots, as the Pillsbury dough can dry out quickly, losing its tender interior. A light sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese or a pinch of red pepper flakes into the garlic butter mixture before brushing can elevate the flavor profile. Ensure the butter mixture is warm when applying to the hot knots for optimal absorption and aroma. Serve immediately with a side of warm marinara for dipping.
