This cranberry salad is a fabulous blend of fresh cranberries, walnuts, orange, crushed pineapple, and gelatin.

  • 2 cups cranberries
  • 1 large orange cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup finely chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple drained
  • 1 3 ounce package cranberry (or raspberry) flavored Jell-O mix
  • 2 cups hot water

Notes

Ensure the orange is thoroughly washed before processing, as the rind is included for zest and bitterness, adding depth.
