Instructions
 

  • Chill your highball glass by placing it in the freezer or filling it with ice water and letting it sit for a few minutes, then discarding the water.
  • Gather all your ingredients and ensure they are well-chilled for optimal flavor and temperature.
  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
  • Carefully measure 2 oz of coconut vodka, 2 oz of sweet & sour mix, and 2 oz of orange juice using a jigger.
  • Pour the measured coconut vodka, sweet & sour mix, and orange juice into the ice-filled cocktail shaker.
  • Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until the exterior of the shaker is frosty cold.
  • Fill your chilled highball glass with fresh ice cubes.
  • Strain the contents of the cocktail shaker into the prepared highball glass, separating the liquid from the shaken ice.
  • Gently top the drink with 2 oz of lemon-lime soda, pouring slowly to maintain its effervescence.
  • Garnish with a lime wheel or a sprinkle of toasted coconut flakes, if desired, and serve immediately.
