Best Turkey Burgers

This turkey burger recipe is the best. After making them the first time my husband said "no more" to beef burgers. These are full of flavor — any cooking method may be used, and they freeze very well. The recipe can also be used for meatballs or meatloaves.

Notes

To achieve tender, juicy turkey burgers, avoid overcooking. While the original recipe suggests an internal temperature of 180°F (85°C), the food safety standard for ground poultry is 165°F (74°C), which will yield a significantly juicier result. Utilize an instant-read thermometer for precision. For enhanced flavor, consider incorporating a dash of smoked paprika or a teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce into the mix. Gently combine ingredients to maintain patty tenderness and prevent a tough texture. Ensure the skillet is hot for proper searing, which builds a delicious crust and locks in moisture. These burgers are versatile; grilling offers a smoky profile, or they can be baked for a hands-off approach. Serve with fresh, vibrant toppings for optimal enjoyment.
