Notes

For a deeper flavor profile, consider using a good quality Dijon mustard instead of standard prepared mustard, and fresh herbs (e.g., finely chopped basil and parsley) for a brighter finish. To prevent dry chicken, always use an instant-read thermometer to ensure the chicken reaches exactly 165°F (74°C) and no higher. Resting the chicken for 10 minutes post-baking is crucial; it allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring a tender and moist result. For an elevated presentation, a final garnish of fresh chopped parsley can add a pop of color and freshness.
