Notes

For optimal flavor, use a good quality mayonnaise as it forms the base. Freshly ground black pepper will also make a noticeable difference. Ensure all dry spices are fully dissolved and incorporated into the sauce for a smooth, homogenous consistency; a whisk is ideal for this. To enhance depth, consider a tiny dash of smoked paprika or a squeeze of fresh lemon juice at the end. For heat, adjust the hot sauce to your preference, or add a pinch of cayenne. This sauce benefits greatly from resting in the refrigerator for at least a few hours, or ideally overnight, allowing the flavors to meld and deepen. Taste and adjust seasoning after chilling. It's incredibly versatile, excellent not just on grilled chicken but also as a dip for fries, a dressing for slaw, or a drizzle over pulled pork. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
