To clear up any confusion, we tried these burritos. We wanted the best, you know. We bought one of each burrito and then we sat down and ranked them. Here are our rankings, from best to worst.
1. **Cantina Chicken Burrito**: Taco Bell just introduced a new kind of chicken. They call it “Slow Roasted” Chicken. This kicks off their new Cantina menu line. It shows how good this new protein is, and it has a lot of this better tasting chicken in it. There was also purple kale and some crisp lettuce. And a smoky tangy sauce, yes. Creamy avocado ranch dressing is in there too. Fresh chutney adds flavor. Plus melted cheese to wrap everything up.
The new chicken is really a big step forward and makes regular chicken look less tasty. There is also a nice crunch to it. This comes from the purple cabbage they put in, which makes the whole dish even more flavorful. The sauce brightened up the burrito and it had flavors of fresh avocado and cilantro. It puts the burrito at the top of the list here.

2. **Bean Burrito**: Maybe it’s just my bias. I really like the original bean and cheese burrito. Taco Bell’s burritos remind me of restaurants like Al & Bea’s, and the one in L.A. stands for beans. The flavor of the beans at Taco Bell may not be very complex, but adding onions makes a big difference.
Raw onions have a sharp flavor, which cuts through the fat of the beans and cheese nicely. The contrast creates an amazing balance. When it’s piping hot and the cheese is melted, wow. The level of deliciousness in this dish is unparalleled. It’s a classic for good reason.

3. **Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito**: The Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito, or CBRB as they call it, is interestingly located in the middle of Taco Bell. It’s the perfect combination of classic Mexican food with a unique idea that’s more grounded in beans and rice. These are common foods in many places.
But this burrito is so captivated by Taco Bell’s creativity that some have called it a “wasteland of Taco Bell ingenuity.” It comes from the nacho cheese sauce and the creamy jalapeño sauce, which are surely Taco Bell’s own flavors. They give us familiar flavors, and this mix of normal and weird is the best thing about it
This rich flavor is only found in Taco Bell, and it’s a flavor you know as soon as you eat it. If you like that flavor, this is it. It mixes simple foods with special sauces.

4. **Burrito Supreme**: “Burrito Supreme” is a trademark, yes. Taco Bell officially owns the name, and it’s been on the menu for a long time. Order the regular meal and you’ll get ground beef most of the time. On some people’s lists, it’s probably the lowest. If it were replaced with another meat, it might rank better. But it comes standard with ground beef.
Even with the beef, it’s still delicious. The food inside was well-matched and satisfying to eat. Fresh lettuce and tomatoes are important here. Yes, they brighten up the whole dish. These fresh parts balance out everything else. It might prevent the wrap from being too heavy and keep it from having just one flavor.
5. **Chicken Enchilada Burrito**: The chicken burrito was fun. It had a hot part and a cold part. Probably because the inside was hot and the sour cream was cold. I wondered if that’s how sour cream is supposed to be.
As for why it’s called “enchilada”, I’m not really sure. But forget the name for now. It tastes pretty good on its own. They put chicken in it with rice, cheese and red sauce. It seemed like they were trying to make an enchilada filling in the shape of a burrito. But Taco Bell uses a lot of sour cream, you know.
That’s its main problem, as Taco Bell always does. If you don’t like too much sour cream, be careful. This one seems to have a lot of sour cream, and most people like this portion.
6. **Black Bean Grilled Cheese Burrito**: Taco Bell does something weird with grilled cheese burritos, they melt the cheese inside and out. You get the impression that the cheese on the outside is messy. Of course, it’s hard to pin down. That’s why they offer another wrap.
This food is a grease bomb, no kidding. One touch of it and your fingers will be greasy. But I was surprised by the goodies inside. The black beans are actually quite tasty, and the ones from Taco Bell have great layers of flavor. They go well with all the cheeses and sauces.
7. **Grilled Cheese Burrito**: A regular grilled cheese burrito is usually ground beef. If you prefer other meats, this dish is even better. It’s very easy to just choose different fillings. Get the steak for just a dollar more.
Sure, sometimes you like to dip your fingers in melted cheese, but this is too greasy. You see, it just doesn’t feel right here. It’s messy and the cheese on the outside doesn’t do anything to hold it together. There’s something really wrong with this concept.
Burritos are perfect for any time of day, and Taco Bell has a variety of different foods just to start your day.
