Steak represents the delicious sizzling sound of a grill. Americans love this dish. A Fox News survey found that steak ranked first. Many people would strongly agree with this fact.

Nearly 66% of people chose steak as their last meal. This reflects the comfort and pleasure that steak brings them. For many people, steak is much more than just food; it is perhaps an experience worth cherishing.

Americans consume a lot of beef, which is not surprising. The U.S. Department of Agriculture reports that Americans consume a significant amount of beef. In 2020, beef consumption in the U.S. reached 27.6 billion pounds. This figure accounts for a large portion of global consumption. The U.S. accounts for 21.2% of global beef consumption, according to the report. Searching for the best steakhouse has become a national pastime.

The Capital Grille is a top-tier steakhouse chain in the United States, and Tasting Table has compiled this list of the best chain brands. They evaluated chain brands with 30 or more locations, a step that helped them identify larger-scale chains.

Tasting Table referenced online reviews and customer survey feedback. The data indicates that The Capital Grille ranks at the top of the list. The brand operates approximately 75 locations across the United States and is one of the more upscale restaurants on the list.

The Capital Grille in Minnesota has been named the best chain restaurant in the United States. You might think that Minnesota would have many branches. But that’s not the case. Although the chain restaurant is well-known, it is not common in Minnesota. There is only one branch in the state. The only location is in downtown Minneapolis at 801 Hennepin Avenue. The location is convenient for most people.

The Capital Grille in Wisconsin is also the only branch in the state, and this chain restaurant was rated the best in a local survey. It is located in Milwaukee. The specific address is 310 Wisconsin Avenue West. This is the only chain restaurant in the state and the closest location to Minnesota.

If you reside in either of these two states, you may wish to consider other locations. If Minneapolis or Milwaukee is inconvenient, the nearest Capital Grille is in Kansas City. This location is quite far, with a driving time of approximately 6.5 hours. Milwaukee is even farther, exceeding 8 hours by car. This indicates that these locations are indeed rare.

Murray’s Steakhouse is also a well-respected local classic steakhouse. Located in downtown Minneapolis, Murray’s Steakhouse is a household name in Minnesota. Its reputation has been built over many years of operation, and people know its place in the Twin Cities food scene. However, Tasting Table’s survey left it out. The reason is simple: Murray’s has only one location in the area.

Another iconic restaurant in Minneapolis is Manny’s Steakhouse. Manny’s Steakhouse is renowned for its quality and is one of the top dining destinations in the area. Like other long-standing establishments, this restaurant has a rich history. Unlike large chain restaurants, this Minneapolis restaurant has only one location. However, locals still hold these restaurants in high regard, and their place in diners‘ hearts remains unshakable.

Five O’Clock Steakhouse is a classic old-school spot in Milwaukee, and Minnesota has its own iconic local restaurants like this. These places are true institutions here, offering authentic local flavors. The experience is completely different from chain restaurants.

Like Murray’s, it has been mentioned. It was also included in the Tasting Table chain restaurant survey. However, this Milwaukee restaurant was excluded. The reason is the same as for the Minnesota restaurant. It has only one location on State Street, which allows it to maintain its local character rather than becoming a chain.
